How long have you been working at Yayme!?
Since April 2011.
What does your job generally involve?
Recruiting new consultants, processing orders, ensuring all consultants’ orders leave the warehouse on time, dealing with party plan consultants’ enquiries and working with our designer to develop catalogues, brochures, promotional banners, etc.
If someone wishes to become a Party Plan Consultant, what do they need to do?
Contact me in the first instance at julia@yayme.com.au. They need to be enthusiastic and motivated. They can grow their own business to whatever they want it to become. I will coach them through everything they need to do. It is not a tough process and from saying yes to receiving all their kit and paperwork should take less than a week.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The flexibility – I have two children myself and I am fortunate enough to be able work around school hours. I love the people I work with and most of all, I love the personalised products we sell.
My children are 14 and 9 and love the products.
Can you tell us something about yourself that may surprise others to know?
I have done a bungy jump and am now training for my 3rd marathon, hopefully London 2012 or Sydney 2012.
What is your favourite Yayme product?
The Santa Lolly Jar. The photo doesn’t always do him justice but he is adorable. His big belly is great for putting lollies in and he is great for Christmas.
