Stuart is the Graphic Designer in residence at Yayme!.
How long have you been working at Yayme!?
I have been working at Yayme! since October 2007. I remember I started out on the floor embroidering bathrobes and stockings and at the end of the season was offered the position of Graphic Designer. I have been at Yayme! ever since.
As Graphic Designer at Yayme!, what kinds of things do you find yourself working on?
As a Graphic Designer at Yayme!, my role extends to all areas of the business.
For several months of the year I work alongside Evelyn on product development, digitally designing our new range of products for our clients and Yayme!.
I have also spent a lot of time working with Julia on improving the Party Plan division designing banners, stationery and our new and complete product guide.
When I’m not working alongside anyone, the remainder of my time is spent photographing products, uploading and managing products on our website, designing our mail out promotions, website graphics, eBay templates and listings, Tavonni’s corporate identity and working alongside our overseas interns.
Do you have a particular favourite aspect of your job?
Definitely designing new products and photographing the finished result.
When not working, what do you enjoy doing most?
When I’m not working at Yayme!, I enjoy photography, travelling, hanging with friends and relaxing.
Can you tell us something about yourself that may surprise others to know?
I attend boot camp every weeknight and the gym 3 times a week. I plan to head back to Europe in 2012.
What is your favourite Yayme! product?
My favourite Yayme! products are the Shark Beach Towel and Swim Bag.
