We support a number of wonderful charities and one of our particular favourites Save The Children Australia supports a vision to live in “a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation”. In fact our most recent initiative, You Too Can Make A Difference, sees us donating one blanket to this very charity for each personalised blanket sold through our website.
Save The Children, like our organisation, has a very clear purpose which is to “inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives”. This resonates with us on two levels, one for the care and support of the children and two, a company who knows what they want in clear terms will be successful in reaching their goals.
Children are our future and it is important that we strive to look after, care and teach young people to live the best life possible. Their scope of assistance covers not only children abroad but also children in need close to home. According to their statistics, nearly 12 per cent of Australian children fall below the poverty line. They have been assisting children since the 1950s with programs that better education, health and wellbeing and develop protection programs which aim to brighten the outlook for many Australian children.
